About Sarah
I am a fashion designer with over 20 years experience designing and developing clothes for British and international brands. I studied textiles at school and college, and I have a degree in Fashion Design
I am passionate about sewing skills and want to help the fashion industry become more sustainable, by teaching my knowledge and giving young people the skills to make, repair and be creative with their clothes and personal style.
Sewing Kitchen is dedicated to offering unique educational opportunities for students through hands-on sewing activities. We believe that every individual possesses unique talents and abilities that deserve recognition and development. My class space is designed to enhance the lives of our learners by instilling confidence, creativity, and practical skills that extend beyond the classroom. Our experienced educators work closely with each student, adapting lessons to meet their individual learning styles and needs. By focusing on a hands-on approach, we create an inclusive space that encourages collaboration, joy, and the sharing of skills.
